My Baby Shower, Among Other Things
I just had my *big* baby shower for miss Elizabeth Anne this past Sunday, and while I absolutely hated opening gifts up in front of friends and family, it was otherwise so enjoyable. It's always nice to be reminded that others love you so, so much. Mom and Tom really went all out on the decor, the treats, and everything, and I felt so grateful. Lizzie's nursery is now jam-packed full of nasal aspirators, pacifiers, butt cream, and all the other "fun" things that she needs. Only 11.5 weeks away from meeting her. I can hardly believe it. I'm currently working from home at Starbucks, and I'm reminded how much changing up the scenery motivates me to get shit done. I'm inspired among other people. Coffee inspires me. The caffeine running through my veins inspires me. The walk over inspired me. The biker who almost ran me down inspired me. I feel I have to share a lesson I'm learning right now, and that is that my annoyance towards others can be curbed by
